If the way the lived their lives as an enclave worked "god" would not have produced these inbred mutations don't you think? I would think you would not have to be a non-believer to see this as self evident.

(Christian versions of these closed off colonies have the same problem like the Amish.)

These genetic mutations also show up "outside" so why are you mocking them for using Science to prevent this?

I got screened for Tay-Sachs and some of the rest of the list, and I hardly live in an 'enclave', I'm just half Ashkenazi. This is an issue that has to do with genetic history. The Cajuns and the Irish also have high Tay-Sachs carrier percentages. African-Americans have sickle-cell anemia. Asians have thalassemia. Shit happens. Genetic bottlenecks occur. Science saves lives.

The mutations show up less frequently in the general populace than these enclosed populations (like the Amish). Literally, if these people believe in god he is telling them through these genetic mutations not to live this way. (that is me being sarcastic, evolution has nothing to do with god).

Yes, the sarcasm came through.

Apparently what I said didn't.

Who is the 'general populace', genetically speaking?

Mix it up. Don't marry people from the same community if it is that small (seek genetic diversity).
